After your surgery has been scheduled, Elizabeth will prepare comprehensive plans for your preoperative and postoperative care, including specific instructions, guidelines, and recommendations to optimize your outcome. This information is vital in preparing you for your surgery and aftercare.
Approximately two weeks prior to your surgery, you will have a preoperative consultation with Elizabeth. During this visit, she will spend as much time as you need to thoroughly discuss the surgical plan postoperative expectations.
This is the ideal time to answer all of your questions and any that your family may have.
After you are discharged from the hospital, Elizabeth will follow you throughout the postoperative period. She will be available at any point during this time for visits, consultation, or phone calls related to your surgery.
